Sabily Al-Quds - Network File Sharing

Sharing file or folder between computer is very important service that should have in any operating system included Sabily. Other than sharing by using network hub or switch, if you only have two PC, you still can network it two by connected network cable between them. Sharing on network is more better than sharing by using USB Flash drive in case for less and fast job.

Lets see how I share folder in Sabily with other operating system for example WindowsXP. In this case I am using network switch since I have three PC connect to it for Internet line sharing. This example for sharing folder after you had success installed Sabily operating system.

01. Right click on the folder that you want to share on network. Tick on "Share this folder". Since this is first time to make folder sharing, we need to install Windows network sharing service. Just click on "Install service" button.

02. It will download package file. Make sure your Internet line is good. 

03. Then the software will be install automatically. 

04. Finish installation. Close the "Changes applied" window. 

05. Restart your session. 

06. Now you can share it. 

07. Icon show that the folder is shared. 

Now you can see it on any Windows operating system under network place.

Hedgewars sees special 0.9.15 Winter Release

Hedgewars, a popular open source Worms-like strategy game, has received a winter update which brings a variety of new features.

Worms fans will recognize the game which runs natively on a variety of platforms, as it heavily takes inspiration from the 2D turn-based strategy game we all know and love.

The developers have released version 0.9.15 which they’ve dubbed a “winter release” and it brings a variety of new features, weapons and bug fixes.

• Let it snow! Watch the ground on maps using the Christmas and Snow themes, because the falling snow may change it to your advantage or disadvantage.

New weapons

• Are your enemies busy digging for oh-so-tasty earthworms instead of facing combat? Time to send a Drill Strike after them!
• You want to push somebody from distance? Weapons are too expensive for you? You like to play in dirt or snow? A Mud Ball* should do the trick! (*wind effected; not recommended to be used as food replacement)

Optional Gameplay modes

• Capture the Flag! Bring your enemy’s flag to your home while protecting your own!
• No Jumping! The temporary loss of floor contact makes you feel insecure? Then play without jumping and see new strategies evolve!
• Random Weapon! You want to test your luck and skill? Then let the game give you and your enemies a random weapon each turn!

Draw your own maps

• YES, you read that right! Now you can create and save your own hand-drawn maps and play them on any theme you want and with who you want!

Fans of the game will be especially pleased with the last feature in the list, which gives you the ability to create any level your brain can come up with. Don’t be tooprovocative however as the developers ask “please do not use maps with motives not suitable for children on the official server, thanks!”

not sure who is the original alas all very similar, except for background. Anyway, all nice work. I added some color,fixed a few things and added some
others.

This took on a life of its own
and evolved to Old Military greens.

There are a few bugs when setting window
pixmap bg. Some apps handle it different, the slider is different in Firefox, the game lights-off will not resize. Just some minor annoyances and
I kinda like the Firefox slider.
